The Lassiter Junior Trojan Basketball Program (LJTB) provides middle school student-athletes a highly competitive basketball environment to prepare them to compete at the high school level. 

Teams compete in the Cobb County Junior Basketball Conference (CCJBC) against other middle school programs from Cobb, Cherokee and Fulton counties.  Per CCJBC rules, only players residing within the Lassiter High School district are eligible to participate. Player residency will be verified.

Preference is for players to attend both weekend tryouts or contact Program Director with conflicts. 

Tryouts are closed to parents.

Players must pre-register on the website below and have a signed waiver in order to participate in tryouts. 

•    Season runs Early October - Early February 
•    Tryouts are free but registration is required
•    Signed waiver is required to tryout
•    Season Fees:  $350 for Grades 6-8 and $275 for 4/5thGrade Team
•    Uniform pricing TBD, returning players can reuse uniforms from the 2023/24 Season
•    Practices are held twice per week for an hour and a half
•    Practice days and times are subject to coach/gym availability
•    Games will be played potentially on Saturdays and Sundays depending on team/league
•    Teams will play over 20 basketball games
•    Grades 6-8 Season ends with a CCJBC Tournament
•    The 4/5 Grade team will be playing in the NEC League
•    Each game will have gate fees ranging from $7-10/game for away games depending on the team/league
